The Judgment

The Six Moving Lines

• Six at the beginningThe wanderer busies himself with trivial things; this brings calamity upon himself.初六：旅琐琐，斯其所取灾。
• Six in the second placeThe wanderer comes to an inn; he has his possessions with him; he wins the heart of a young servant.六二：旅即次，怀其资，得童仆，贞。
• Nine in the third placeThe wanderer's inn burns down; he loses the young servant's loyalty; danger.九三：旅焚其次，丧其童仆，贞厉。
• Nine in the fourth placeThe wanderer rests in a shelter; he obtains his ax and his belongings; but in his heart he is not glad.九四：旅于处，得其资斧，我心不快。
• Six in the fifth placeHe shoots a pheasant; it drops with the first arrow; in the end this brings only praise and a position.六五：射雉，一矢亡，终以誉命。
• Nine at the topThe bird's nest burns up; the wanderer laughs at first, then must lament and weep; through carelessness he loses his cow; misfortune.上九：鸟焚其巢，旅人先笑后号咷，丧牛于易，凶。
