The Judgment
The Army needs perseverance and a strong man; good fortune without blame.
The Six Moving Lines
- Six at the beginningAn army must set forth in proper order; if the order is not good, misfortune threatens.初六：师出以律，否臧凶。
- Nine in the second placeIn the midst of the army; good fortune, no blame; the king bestows a double decoration.九二：在师中，吉，无咎，王三锡命。
- Six in the third placeThe army carries corpses in the wagon; misfortune.六三：师或舆尸，凶。
- Six in the fourth placeThe army retreats; no blame.六四：师左次，无咎。
- Six in the fifth placeThere is game in the field; it furthers one to catch it; without blame.六五：田有禽，利执言，无咎。长子帅师，弟子舆尸，贞凶。
