The Six Moving Lines

• Six at the beginningIf one does not perpetuate the affair, there is a little gossip; in the end good fortune.初六：不永所事，小有言，终吉。
• Nine in the second placeOne cannot strive against the great; one returns and gives ground — good fortune without blame.九二：不克讼，归而逋，其邑人三百户，无眚。
• Six in the third placeNourishing the ancient virtue; perseverance brings danger; in the end good fortune.六三：食旧德，贞厉，终吉。或从王事，无成。
• Nine in the fourth placeOne cannot strive against the great; one returns and gives ground — good fortune.九四：不克讼，复即命，渝。安贞吉。
• Nine in the fifth placeStriving before him brings good fortune; a great man is needed.九五：讼，元吉。
• Nine at the topEven if one wins the case, one is not honored; it is best to strive no more.上九：或锡之鞶带，终朝三褫之。
