Before Completion — success; the fox gets wet; nothing furthers at the end.
The Six Moving Lines
- Six at the beginningHe gets his feet soaked; no blame; the perseverance of a young fox is not yet a model for going.初六：濡其尾，吝。
- Nine in the second placeHe drags his wheels; perseverance brings good fortune.九二：曳其轮，贞吉。
- Six in the third placeBefore completion, attack; danger; it furthers one to cross the great water.六三：未济，征凶，利涉大川。
- Nine in the fourth placePerseverance brings good fortune; remorse disappears; shock, thus to discipline the devil's country; for three years, great realms are made subject.九四：贞吉，悔亡，震用伐鬼方，三年有赏于大国。
- Six in the fifth placePerseverance brings good fortune; no remorse; the light of the superior man is sincere; good fortune.六五：贞吉，无悔，君子之光，有孚，吉。
