Before Completion — success; the fox gets wet; nothing furthers at the end.
The Six Moving Lines
- Six at the beginningHe gets his feet soaked; no blame; the perseverance of a young fox is not yet a model for going.初六:濡其尾,吝。
- Nine in the second placeHe drags his wheels; perseverance brings good fortune.九二:曳其轮,贞吉。
- Six in the third placeBefore completion, attack; danger; it furthers one to cross the great water.六三:未济,征凶,利涉大川。
- Nine in the fourth placePerseverance brings good fortune; remorse disappears; shock, thus to discipline the devil's country; for three years, great realms are made subject.九四:贞吉,悔亡,震用伐鬼方,三年有赏于大国。
