卦辞 · Judgment
亨，小利贞，初吉终乱。After Completion — success in small matters; perseverance; at the beginning good fortune, at the end disorder.
六爻爻辞 · Moving Lines
- 初九 初九：曳其轮，濡其尾，无咎。He drags his wheels; his tail gets soaked; no blame.
- 二六 六二：妇丧其茀，勿逐，七日得。The woman loses the curtain of her carriage; do not run after it; on the seventh day you will get it back.
- 三九 九三：高宗伐鬼方，三年克之，小人勿用。The illustrious ancestor dispatches troops to chastise the devil's country; after three years they conquer it; inferior men must not be employed.
- 四六 六四：繻有衣袽，终日戒。The finest clothes become rags; be careful all day long.
- 五九 九五：东邻杀牛，不如西邻之禴祭，实受其福。The neighbor in the east who slaughters an ox does not attain as much real happiness as the neighbor in the west with his small offering; the offering is sincere and brings good fortune.
- 上六 上六：濡其首，厉。His head is immersed; danger.
