- 初九 初九：虞吉，有他不燕。Being prepared brings good fortune; if there are secret designs, one is disquieted.
- 二九 九二：鸣鹤在阴，其子和之，我有好爵，吾与尔靡之。A crane calling in the shade; its young answers it; I have a good goblet; I will share it with you.
- 三六 六三：得敌，或鼓或罢，或泣或歌。He finds a comrade; now he beats the drum, now he stops; now he sobs, now he sings.
- 四六 六四：月几望，马匹亡，无咎。The moon nearly full; the horse leaves its companion; no blame.
- 五九 九五：有孚挛如，无咎。He possesses truth, which links others; no blame.
- 上九 上九：翰音登于天，贞凶。Cockcrow penetrating to heaven; perseverance furthers.
