Duration — success, no error; perseverance furthers; it furthers to have somewhere to go.
The Six Moving Lines
- Six at the beginningSeeking duration too hastily brings misfortune persistently; nothing that would further.初六：浚恒，贞凶，无攸利。
- Nine in the second placeRemorse disappears; one cannot remain forever in one's place; to make changes brings good fortune.九二：悔亡。
- Nine in the third placeHe who does not give duration to his character meets with disgrace; persistent humiliation.九三：不恒其德，或承之羞，贞吝。
