Duration — success, no error; perseverance furthers; it furthers to have somewhere to go.
The Six Moving Lines
- Six at the beginningSeeking duration too hastily brings misfortune persistently; nothing that would further.初六:浚恒,贞凶,无攸利。
- Nine in the second placeRemorse disappears; one cannot remain forever in one's place; to make changes brings good fortune.九二:悔亡。
- Nine in the third placeHe who does not give duration to his character meets with disgrace; persistent humiliation.九三:不恒其德,或承之羞,贞吝。
