The Six Moving Lines
- Six at the beginningRepetition of the abyss; one falls into a pit; misfortune.初六：习坎，入于坎窞，凶。
- Nine in the second placeThe abyss is dangerous; one should strive to attain small things only.九二：坎有险，求小得。
- Six in the third placeBefore and behind one are precipices; water is a precipice; do not enter a pit; use only the small.六三：来之坎坎，险且枕，入于坎窞，勿用。
- Six in the fourth placeA jug of wine, a bowl of rice with earthen vessels; offer them through the window; in the end no blame.六四：樽酒簋贰，用缶，纳约自牖，终无咎。
- Nine in the fifth placeSimple, sincere; nothing furthers but with discipline.九五：坎不盈，祗既平，无咎。
