The Clinging — perseverance brings success; nourish the docile cow, good fortune.
The Six Moving Lines
- Nine at the beginningThe tracks run crisscross; if one is seriously intent, no blame.初九：履错然，敬之无咎。
- Six in the second placeYellow light; supreme good fortune.六二：黄离，元吉。
- Nine in the third placeIn the light of the setting sun, men either beat the pot and sing or loudly bewail the approach of old age; misfortune.九三：日昃之离，不鼓缶而歌，则大耋之嗟，凶。
- Nine in the fourth placeHow sudden his coming! It burns, it dies, it is cast away.九四：突如其来如，焚如，死如，弃如。
